Your extensions are an investment-and proper care is the key to keeping them looking full, soft, and seamless between visits.

Styling

Use a boar bristle brush to gently detangle hair. Avoid excessive pulling and tension on the tops of your wefts. Maintain healthy extensions using heat protectants, low heat settings on your tools. Never go to bed with wet hair. Dry atleast 80%.

Washing

Avoid washing your hair daily. You may use dry shampoo for excess oil. Always use paraben and sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. Do not use purple shampoos directly on your extensions. Please consult your professional on proper toning.  Deep conditioning treatments should be done weekly. Avoid all bond building products as these can lead to dry extensions and breakage. Use a leave-in conditioner to maintain softness and health.

Sleeping

Tie hair in a loose braid or low ponytail. Never go to bed with wet hair. Sleep on a silk pillowcase with a silk scrunchie or wear a silk or satin bonnet to keep your hair as soft as possible.

Vacation Hair

Whenever possible tie hair back and under a hat to avoid excess uv ray exposure which can lead to dryness. Avoid chlorinated pools to prevent discoloration and damage. Sunscreens containing avobenzone will cause discoloration as well. Swimming with your extensions can lead to absorption of different elements that can cause damage or unwanted matting. At the very least spray in a leave in conditioner before enter bodies of water.

Protect your Investment

Remember that extensions are not your natural hair. In order to ensure the longevity of your extensions, please follow these instructions above.
