Hi! I’m Kaili Rae Root, but most clients know me as Kaili. I became a licensed cosmetologist in New York State in 2025, and I’m so excited to be growing my career at Younique Hair Salon in Watkins Glen, NY. I am working to perfect my skills in dimensional color.  I love creating bright, beautiful results while keeping the hair feeling healthy and strong. Whether you’re looking for a fresh blonde refresh, a lighter look for a new season, or you’re just ready to feel more confident in your hair again — my goal is to help you to feel your absolute best.

What I love most about doing hair is simple: making people feel beautiful. I truly believe that when your hair feels good, everything feels better.

When you sit in my chair, you can expect a consultation that’s thorough and thoughtful. I always take time to learn your hair history, your goals, and what you’re hoping to achieve so we can create a plan that works for your lifestyle and keeps your hair on track long-term.

My energy behind the chair is peppy, caring, and kind, and I love a good mix of relaxing and chatting during appointments — whatever makes you feel most comfortable. I’m definitely a coffee girl, and my go-to salon vibe is usually country music and good conversation.

Outside of the salon, you can usually find me enjoying the outdoors, going to concerts, or spending time at local fairs.

I chose to join Younique Hair Salon because I had heard amazing things about the team, the environment, and the supportive culture — and it truly feels like the perfect place to grow.

My goal is for every client to leave feeling happy, satisfied, and confident, and to feel even better than they did walking in.
